Golf Notebook is a personal golf learning and memory notebook.

Where Is My Notebook Data Stored?

The current release is on-device first. Practice entries, round notes, app preferences, plans, reminders, and app-managed practice video are intended to remain in the app’s local storage on your iPhone.

Golf Notebook does not require a Golf Notebook account and does not provide Golf Notebook cloud sync in the current release.

What Happens If I Delete the App?

Golf Notebook does not provide an in-app cloud service that can restore records or videos that existed only in the app’s local storage after the app is deleted.

Device-level backup and restore may operate separately under Apple and your device settings.

Camera or Microphone Is Not Working

Check iPhone Settings and make sure Golf Notebook has permission to use the camera and microphone. Return to the app and try recording again.

Golf-Course Search Is Not Returning Results

Golf-course lookup uses Apple MapKit search and may require a network connection. Try entering a few letters of the course name and choose a result when one appears.

Language

Golf Notebook supports English, Korean, and Simplified Chinese. You can change the app language from Settings. The selected language is intended to persist across relaunch.

Does Golf Notebook Evaluate My Swing?

No. The current release does not provide automated swing scoring, AI diagnosis, medical diagnosis, or injury assessment. It helps you compare your own practice video and keep your own learning record.

When Contacting Support

It helps if you include your iPhone model, iOS version, Golf Notebook app version, the language you were using, what you were trying to do, what happened instead, and the steps that reproduce the problem if known.

Please do not send private notebook entries, personal videos, or other sensitive information unless it is genuinely necessary for the support issue and you choose to share it.

Privacy

Golf Notebook is designed around an on-device-first privacy model. The current release does not require an account and does not include third-party advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.
